The Heavyweight Thread (Fight List and Fighter Updates) For Summer 2011

Since everyone is briefly paying attention to heavyweights at the moment, I figured i'd post this.

2011-07-09 Chris Arreola vs Friday Ahunanya
2011-07-16 Kubrat Pulev vs Maksym Pediura
2011-07-16 Oliver Mccall vs Bert Cooper (For IBU Title! Lol)
2011-07-16 Derric Rossy vs Maurice Harris (USBA Title)
2011-07-23 Tyson Fury vs Derek Chsiroa (BBBofC and Commonwealth Titles)
2011-07-29 Mariusz Wach vs Kevin McBride (Wach is 24-0)
2011-08-13 David Tua vs Monte Barrett
    2011-08-13 Kimbo Slice vs TBA
2011-08-19 Amir Mansour vs Dominick Guinn (IBFNA Title, Mansour is 14-0)
2011-08-20 Alexander Dimitrenko vs Michael Sprott (EBU Title)
    2011-08-27 Seth Mitchell vs TBA
2011-08-27 Robert Helenius vs Siarhei Liakhovich
    2011-08-27 Travis Walker vs TBA
2011-09-10 Tomasz Adamek vs Vitali Klitschko (WBC Title)

Johnathon Banks beat fatass Juluis Long (315lbs!) this week in Michigan. 29 year old banks is now 26-1 (7-0 at heavyweight). He's still promoted by K2.

Keep your eye on Kubrat Pulev. He's 12-0, having fight six times in 2010, and already has wins over journeymen like Matt Skelton (KO4), Dominick Guinn (UD), and Derric Rossy (TKO5).

Juan Carlos Gomez has yet to appear in 2011 after pulling out of Prizefighter over "visa issues." This is kind of strange considering he fought five times in 2010 and won the WBA International heavyweight title.

Prospects Tor Hamer and Denis Boystov are both inactive following injuries, and are both looking to return this fall. Boystov says he wants to fight in American next.

Deontay Wilder knocked out the corpse of Damone Reed a few weeks ago. Reed was coming off of back-to-back losses to James Toney (UD) and Hasim Rahman (KO6). At least he's fighting guys that used to be decent now.

Undefeated prospects Neven Pajkic, Rakhim Chakhkiev, Vyacheslav Glazkov, and (34-year-old) Alexander Ustinov have all fought only once this year and have no fights scheduled.
