Just having seen video of him watching Wlad and Haye and hearing his post fight comments I just get the feeling that as long as Wlad is involved in the sport and he's watching ring side he is going to have that desire to fight, that clenched fist during the fight and that lookin his eye where you can tell that he wishes he was in the ring. I mean, he wanted to fight haye and had to be restrained at his brothers weigh in....I dont see a guy with that much passion and desire just to fight walking away from the sport until he loses or someone proves that he is over the hill. If Wlad walks away and Vit is able to separate himself from boxing, then I could see him give it up, but until he is shown he doesnt have it anymore or Wlad hangs up the gloves, I just dont see Vitali stepping away from the sport regardless of what he might have said in the past. He is about to be 40 years old, but he has taken great care of himself and injuries might have actually helped him avoid some wear and tear. BHop and Vitali are somewhat similar, they both dont take much punishment in their fights, take the sport serious 24/7 365, they both are fighters and have massive amounts of pride and self confidence.
I think a lot of people assume Vit will be gone before he's 41, and thats a possibility, but my guess is he'll be around and he and Wlad will retire together.
