You don't know who he is, because you don't watch boxing. Zaveck is a title holder in the division, with 3 successful defenses, who has yet to lose a fight decisively. This is a completely legitimate & tough fight for Berto.

If anything, it can be argued that Berto dosen't deserve to fight Zaveck for a title since he's coming directly off of a loss.

I like zaveck but two of his three defenses have been against absolute bull**** opponents, guys not even in the top 100 welterweights. I am glad he is getting this chance to beat somebody legit, but his record is more padded than berto's, and that is saying a lot

Zaveck does have a belt so at least it's a world championship fight.

After Berto beats him he should go take Senchenko's belt too.....suddenly he'll have 2 titles around his waist and he'll be a major player at welterweight once again.

Zovack is pretty tough from what I remember. Still nothing special and more of an accumulaion guy. Berto should be able to take his punches and that's why they are taking the fight. Not bad for his first fight back though really...
