Why the grief for W.Klitschko?

I can sum up the criticis of Wladimir Klitschko in one sentence:

He is a WHITE heavyweight, from the ex-RUSSIAN bloc, he is NOT American.

If he were black, and American, I'm sure we'd not see the criticism. In fact, i'd bet my house on it.

The cringeworthy search of the American boxing media for SOMEONE, ANYONE, SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE, to beat him is really quite sad.
