  • Comments Thread For: Eddie Chambers To David Haye: Who's The Bum Now?

Heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers has lashed out at former heavyweight champion David Haye. Chambers felt the sting of Haye's verbals jabs after getting knocked out by Wladimir Klitschko. Last Saturday in Hamburg, Haye lost a lopsided twelve round decision to Wladimir. Now it's Chambers' turn to throw a few verbal jabs. Chambers is willing to face Haye, if the British star intends to continue his career beyond a planned retirement in October.

Its a good fight I would want to see because I have been saying that Eddie is underrated and could beat Haye.

What has Eddie done since the Wlad fight? Seriously.

Chambers is one of the names on the list of fighters who Haye won't risk fighting if he continues.

Chambers, Thompson, Arreola, Adamek, Helenius, Chagaev, Povetkin and Solis he won't even consider.

If he returns he might fight the Chisora-Fury winner or someone who has proven to be soft like Dimitrenko.

Eddie was a pretty busy fighter before the fight with Wlad to be honest, I remember getting packages sent from people throughout 2009 and at one point it seemed like every other month was another bootleg DVD with a new Chambers match in it.

The guy has done about as much at Heavyweight as one can at the moment without winning a World Belt. He'd make a great cruiserweight, but he wants to stick with the higher class still. Good on him, hope he gets booked a little more in the future.

Worked his way back towards another shot by taking part in an elimination tournament. Maybe he should've talked smack instead as people seem to rate fighters higher when they do that.

Chambers got knocked out because he came to win, Haye lasted the distance because he came to survive.

I think Haye vs Chambers might be a good fight. Haye will not be afraid to go after Chambers because is Chambers is not as a puncher, they are both quick. Haye has the edge in punching power but chambers has better skills, could be a decent fight

Nothing. Haye got his shot at a title. Helenius, Arreola or Poetvkin will deserve a chance soon. He might get a rematch. He don't deserve one.
