i may be seeing ghosts, but there seems to be somethings being overlooked here....

one of these is the risk/gamble promoters put themselves to in making a fight happen...

specially now that promoters have to guarantee the minimum $ a fighter will get in a fight....

the pac pbf fight will be very huge, and i think tr & gbp will still rather work together

Why not? Floyd and ODLH did...And they are making much more money now, and props to them for that...

And here we have Arum taking damn near 30% of Paq's cut...Bob is making his money, and he is very smart about it...But he isn't the one getting punched in the face...

He is leaching everything he can off of his cash cow's, he doesn't care about them...He cares about his bank account...He sets up fights IN HOUSE so he can get all the money he can...

Manny should break away and agree to the Mayweather demands (like him and his trainer have said they would)

The fighters have to pay their trainers, their team and a **** load of other expenses...Without some SCUM promoter taking 30% of their purse, they will be able to get the $$$ that the deserve and still be able to pay everyone in the camp...Take 30% of say (for ****s and giggles) 1 million...Thats 300k for promoter, and 700k for the fighter...After he gets done paying everyone in camp he makes nothing near what is advertised...The ones that fight deserve the cash...The promoters will make their money, and a lot of it...

I GUARANTEE that Bob Arum wouldn't step in the ring to fight someone with 27% of his purse being taken from him...

If Arum is eliminated, Manny could let the accountants do the work post fight he’d get something close to Mayweather money-wise. Floyd already has the date and the arena lined up, all Pacquaio needs to do is take the random drug tests and the fight is on.

Manny Pacquiao will not leave Top Rank. He and his handlers are simply too incompetent to run a Promotional Company. There is more to it than just calling it Pacman Promotions.

Same for Floyd, he can talk about being independent hiding behind Mayweather promotions, but deep inside his little brain also knows that he can't handle big events and everything that comes with it, which is why he co-promotes it with Golden Boy's help.

For *** sakes, one guy is soo naive and signs contracts with two companies and the other is too ignorant (and apparently has ignorant handlers too) to pay his taxes on time.

These guys need Golden Boy and Top Rank. Say what you will of their head honchos, but these guys know what they're doing. It's not as simple as having a top Superstar name, announcing the fight and tickets and PPV sales taking care of themselves. It takes alot of behind the scenes work that most don't appreciate to make these events what they are.
