I truly cannot believe that you said that.

Mayweather is coming off a layoff and fighting the third best welter on the planet, and Pacquiao is fighting a lightweight that WE ALREADY KNOW cant hang at welter.

You cannot compare those two fights, they are not even close.

One is a genuine title-fight, the other is nothing more than an exhibition match, about the 4th or 5th exhibition match that Pacquiao has fought since he and Marquez previously met at 130.

I have never disagreed with you more than I do right now.

    • Lead -A) The lawsuit is not a joke. It is defamation of character on a large scale and THAT is the reason the judge did not throw it out. B) If Marquez gives Pac a great fight, will you admit that you were wrong about Marquez? I will admit I am wrong if Pac stops him easy. C) You did read where I did not critisize the choice of Ortiz, but praised it, right?

Obviously it was important enough that Mayweather didn't just show up in court and say "I didn't do it" and walk out.

                By Edward "Eddy" Chaykovsky

Freddie Roach, trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, says his boxer will be ready and able to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2012. Roach appeared on ESPN Radio and said his boxer wants the fight with Mayweather, who needs to beat WBC champion Victor Ortiz on September 17 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has a scheduled fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on November 12 in Las Vegas. Both boxers need to win the scheduled bouts to keep their anticipated meeting in play.

“We want that fight badly,” Roach said. “We agreed to everything he asked for the least time... and nothing happened. Is it just talk or is it action? He is fighting Victor Ortiz and he’s a southpaw...He has to beat Ortiz first and that’s not going to be an easy task Last time, we agreed to everything he asked. On my side and on Manny’s side, we want that fight a 100%. We’re gonna fight Marquez in November and anytime after that. If (Mayweather) wants to fight the next day, we’ll be ready."

See this is what I'm talking about when it comes to these Pac followers. It's like they're part of a cult blindly following their leader with no brain of their own...

Either way you look at it, Pac followers and Team Pac change their story like clothes.

                http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content10269.html.... See for yourself.

The article basically say: PAC NEVER AGREED TO OSDT/RBT!!!!!!!

It's pathetic. The sad part is that most of these people are more intelligent than that. There's nothing wrong with questioning and thinking for yourself.

i think it's more than that. they feel it's their civic duty to defend pacquiao because he's filipino like they are. people will do and say anything for the sake of their nationality and flag. it's a dumb concept that i never got.
