I, on the other hand have realized that both Pac and May were to blame when negotiations fell through and I can be properly objective.
Whatever man. You are the one playing this excuse game. Pac got beat in the first fight plain and simple. 2nd and 3rd he won but clearly that wasn't the same Erik Morales that fought Pac the first time. Anyway, Pac won and more power to him. I don't blame Floyd for the fight not happening because all Pac had to do was agree to the demand and the fight would have been done and past tense 2 years ago. Floyd is back and still screaming about Pac taking the tests after Arum claims that there were a 2nd and 3rd negotiations but now only wants to sue Floyd in court? Arum ain't even talking about making the Floyd fight but rather Mike Jones? When Floyd was away from the sport I could have sworn Arum mention Floyd turned down 65MIL and also asked for 100MIL? Come on man. If Pac was sure of the tests and his chances of beating Floyd then there would have not been no reason for him to walk away from the first negotiations when Floyd was at the table ready and the only thing that kept the fight from happening is giving blood.

Pac is to blame. The only thing I blame Floyd for is retiring all the time and not continuing to fight, but when he came back the first time, it was strictly to get the Manny fight and that's why when Marquez called him out the fight got done, to set up Manny. **** is soooo simple to read but Pac fans make it seem like it's brail to a person who can see. Arum has said numerous times how he doesn't like working with Floyd and even had fighters leave their promotional companies to land a fight with Pac. **** is so obvious. I'm willing to bet after Marquez if Pac wins, that Arum will have Mike Jones, Kermit Cintron or a rematch with Cotto lined up. Bob Arum got Mannny Pacquiao by the sack like he tried to do with Oscar and Floyd before Manny but they were smart enough to take charge of their own careers and leave.

      • GR - once again, you have proven to entirely biased....unwilling to admit that if Mayweather had not played Commission on BASELESS accusations, they would have fought. ANYONE capable of being objective KNOWS that BOTH guys are responsible. Those on these boards that mention the negatives and positives of both guys, ARE the truest observers. You are FAR from that.

        • And anyone complaining about Pac's lawsuit is BRAIN DEAD!!! All Mayweather had to do was SHUT THE *** UP and not go on racist rants and accuse Pac of cheating and there would be NO lawsuit! EVERYTHING began with Mayweather!!! But that does NOT mean Pac and Arum are without blame for a number of things. THIS is called being objective! Try it sometime!!

Yep I agree with that, in terms of not conceding, etc.

But the OSDT request was not the result of ego. I am 100% positive that Mayweather truly believes that there is a distinct possiblity that Pac may be using steroids.

OSDT's are harmless, testing should not be an issue.

Traditionally, since the dirty Olympics, anybody who quibbles over random blood testing has been instantly branded a drug cheat. Pac is being ridiculous if he did not think that his refusal would result in steroid accusations.

In fact, Pac is not being ridiculous at all, his fans are.

            Why ?

Because when Manny refused the random blood testing, Freddie Roach publicly admitted that people would naturally find that su****ious.

So if Freddie and Manny knew that, and they did, because it was obvious..... it seems kinda silly to cry about it now, and even more ridiculous to resolve the situation by initiating legal action.

Pacquiao is 100% to blame, and Mayweather is not to blame at all. OSDT's are completely harmless, should be mandatory, and cannot be frowned upon or dismissed. Random blood testing should not be an issue, and should never be the reason why a fight of that magnitude did not happen.

            * Mayweather took the test, he is clean, he got paid.
            * Mosley took the test, he is clean, he got paid.
            * Ortiz will take the test, he will be clean, and he will get paid.
            * Manny.....

Fair call, and I understand where you are coming from.

              One little problem.....

You need to tell that to Pac fans, because EVERY SINGLE TIME that this subject is raised, Pac fans start coming out with all of those ridiculous excuses again. Jeez dude, we even got people on here who feel justified in calling the OSDT request an intentional duck, absurd

While non-boxing fanboys attempt to justify Manny ducking the random blood tests, nothing will change, it is what it is.

OSDT's are completely harmless, and simply cannot be used as an excuse to duck that fight. Manny is either ducking Mayweather, or he is ducking the tests, neither are acceptable.

              • I blame BOTH Pac fans and Mayweather fans. I have seen negative stuff mentioned about Mayweather that made no sense at all to me, and the same for Pac. But the real issue here is that both sides have been correct and incorrect and the line gets drawn and still it goes on for months, years in an endless argument.

                • I think both Pac and Mayweather are taking risks in their next fight and anyone objective would see that. We know Marquez is a true warrior who I think could have gotten the nod in one of their fights so he is LIVE. Ortiz has hurt literally every fighter he has faced and is young, big, strong, hits hard, has serious pressure. BOTH guys should get credit!

                  • So which one is it freddie..is manny going to fight floyd or are you going to throw khan at him first and see what happens?

                    • I am a Pac fan but I don't agree with the Mayweather haters or Pac fans that say Ortiz is is hand-picked. Ortiz is much younger and age and layoff can catch up to Mayweather. No one is immune. He may step into that ring and not have it one day or just be a step behind and against Ortiz that is dangerous! Mayweather could have picked Zaveck but chose a fireball instead.
