Congratulations on choosing to totally ignore common-sense and a mountain of evidence..... and running with a rumor that was started by a known liar that happens to have been categorically denied by 6 people who work for three independant business organisations, 4 of whom would be ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to making that fight happen.

What a dumbarse. Stop following dirty old men into the bushes kid, unless you really enjoy it that is.

      Wake up clownboy.

Ross Greenburg stated that he started his " negotiations " on May 2nd.

Check out the dates on these links.....

9 days after Greenburg (apparently) started his " negotiations ", Bob Arum himself confirmed that NO negotiations were currently underway, and Ellerbe confirmed that there were no negotiations scheduled for the immediate future.....

And yet again..... 12 days after Greenburg (apparently) started " negotiations ", Arum again confimed that NO negotiations were currently underway, and Schaefer himself confimed that there were no negotiations scheduled for the immediate future.....

Even as late as 7 weeks after Greenburg (apparently) started his "negotiations", Bob Arum still insisted that GBP were representing Mayweather..... “ Patience, patience, patience, ” said Arum, who has been in the thick of negotiations with Golden Boy Promotions (GBP) regarding what is expected to be the richest fight in boxing history.....
A global media and thought leadership platform that elevates voices in the news cycle. Online since 1998.

In fact, the first time that I can recall Greenberg even being mentioned, was during Arum's conference call.

Add to that, the fact that CLEARLY Arum lied about the deadline.....

Add to that, the fact that 6 people, working for three independant business organisations, 4 of whom would be absolutely critical to making that fight happen..... ALL categorically denied that an official negotiation ever took place..... and the answer is plainly obvious.

Arum played the media so that he could procure funding and a date for the Margarito fight.....
Over the past two years, there's been a lot of uncertainty amongst fans and media alike regarding the events surrounding the negotiations for the mega-fight between pound-for-pound champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In an effort to clear up the confusion, FightHype.com has put together an in-depth timeline detailing every major milestone that took place. From the moment that Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to the minute that Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum declared the fight to be off, all of the major events that dominated the headlines are included. Only the facts are included in this definitive timeline. Links to mulitple outside references have been included for each date, so fans can draw their own conclusions as to what went wrong at each step of the way.

Al Haymon categorically denied that the two phone calls between him and Greenburg were part of an official negotiation. You are just a pig-ignorant fanboy who has found a blade of grass and decided to run with it.

I decided to put dishonest non-boxing fanboy clowns on ignore but it is too much fun kicking you around.

They should stop saying that they agree... and actually agree, by signing on the dotted line. It's that simple.

Ross Greenburg isn't Floyd Mayweather. Like I said before, it's OST or nothing at all, what's there to negotiate?

The most obsessive/compulsive posters here have shown a common trait, the inability to accept that both Pac and Mayweather in their own way let their ego get in the way of the fight happening. So if this fight happens, how many of you are going to feel like fools for thinking that one or the other or both were afraid?

The only thing standing in the way of this fight happening is if one or both lose to their respective opponents. It is clear if Floyd gets past Ortiz and Pac gets past Marquez that this fight will happen. The pressure and money are too great. But Ortiz and Marquez are the wrench in the plans.

I dont understand how you can completely ignore the OSDT refusal that KILLED THE FIGHT already, and I dont understand how you could also forget about both the " Arum factor ", and the " lawsuit ".

Those three things pretty much tell the full story to me.

I totally refuse to look at Mayweather's OSDT request as a reason why the fight hasn't happened yet. That would be ridiculous. OSDT's are completely harmless, and are undertaken by dozens of top athletes every single year, and the only thing that they have ever prevented is steroid abuse.

OSDT's did not affect the Mosley fight at all, and nor did they affect the Ortiz fight.

                    The three issues are.....
1.) OSDT's, to be or not to be, that is the fkn question alright
2.) Bob " yesterday I was lying, today I am telling the truth " Arum
                    3.) Pacquiao's " lawsuit "

Nothing else has prevented this fight from happening.

Lead, you are totally missing the point. If Mayweather had not asked for OSTD's, there would have been a fight. If Pac had not tried to negotiate a cutoff, there would be a fight. BOTH egos got in the way. You can argue till your blue in the face every single day on these boards for months which you have...it is a waste of time.
