PPV and promoters won't let Ortiz mess up a big money fight with Pac. Ortiz has to win by knockout, just to get a split. And he won't get that if FMW gets up.
Is anybody worried about Floyd but me?

Yea, I too fear Victor will have to knock him out or else he might get robbed, doesnt matter he's the champ. In this situation he's still the underprivileged one. I think he can do it, but it will take him 10 rounds at least. His power is good at 147, but not as shattering as at 140.Comment

How he gonna get destroyed?? He's the younger, stronger, harder punching man. Floyd will have to do a lot of boxing and running to beat him. Even that may not help. Floyd will get a 116-112 at best, if he's lucky and really gives it all.Comment

dude, it's a tuneup
Ortiz might win early rounds while Floyd heats up
once he's on, he'll toy with OrtizComment

Floyd is so much better then anyone Ortiz has fought that its insane. And Ortiz has already gotten a "draw" against a mover who is far, far worse then Floyd. And the toe to toe thing wont happen. Floyd says that in ever fight. Usually, he waits until late in the fight when he has his guy totally figured out before he will stand toe to toe in spots. My feeling is that unless Floyd's legs are shot, this is an easy fight for him. But the danger of a ko is always there. Even when Ortiz has lost he has always knocked the guy down. He hits like a ****ing mule.Comment

Iunno if I'm worried. But I am quite curious as to how he'll look. I know he's been in shape, stayed healthy, and stayed active according to his own words. But that much time off can never be too good for your boxing career, and he's not getting younger. So as sure as I am that he's going to beat Ortiz decisively, I'm iffy. It's boxing, ANYTHING can happen...Comment
