You would need at least 3 compelling Americans to make the tourney bankable from a profits perspective. Unless Sky held the tourney, then you can have 5 Euros and Chambers.

I like it, if for no other reason then to at least see some good scraps between the second tier heavies. Any combo of Haye-Arreola-Adamek-Povetkin-Chambers is compelling in my opinion. Hell, even throw in Mitchell and let's see I he's the goods. Ward was supposed to be too green to compete with the Euros and look what happened there.

Actually you don't need a K-Bro to make it compelling.

    Euros-Haye, Adamek, Povetkin
    US- Arreola, Chambers, Mitchell

So what is the point of a super 6 hw with no conclusion?

Sooooo, again. Nope. Wlad and Vitali won't fight each other.

1 of the Klitscho's would have to be in it to make it sell more (there would be a world title on the line)

And If the Klitschko entered wins the whole tournament, then the Klitschko that wins wouldn't have to face the other Klitschko, and it will prove without a shadow of a doubt that they are the best. But over the course of a tournament there could be a few shocks along the way and the fights that don't involve a Klitschko will draw the boxing fans to watch.

That is a great idea i was thinking of posting the same thing. Except both wlad and vitali should be excluded. Let people get hyped up and let all these contenders fight each other like areola thomson boystov shasha helinus heck thow valuev in there. Im sure you would get quality match ups. Then the winner gets a fight against either klit. And im sure the winner will pose a bigger threat then the klits have seen in a long time. All the pretenders will be eliminated and we wont have to suffer from fights like last saturdays.

It would be awesome but good luck getting guys like Haye and Povetkin to sign a super 6 contract. Heavyweights just get paid too much for that stuff.

You'd end up with a low rent tournament consisting of briggs, solis, etc

I'd Prefer it with 1 of the Klitschko's entered because it leaves more room for shocks Because In a round robin tournament the Klitschko that enters will have to fight every single 1 of these guys, leaving no room for the guy that wins its style to be the reason for his loss, if you see what im saying, then if someone other than a klitschko wins, the person that wins should fight the other klitschko that didnt enter, for all the belts.

while unfortunately you're right....a guy like Haye should be in no position to make a big payday at this point in his career...

might be able to make it fly if from the beginning of the tournament you had it set up so that say...the winner fights Wlad, runner up fights Vitali...

then include clauses for the winners of those two fights for a unification fight

but most likely either klit would beat all these guys as they stand now. But for me the point of the tourney would be for these guys to get more seasoned and experienced in fighting top guys thus giving them a better chance to beat a klit. They would see all types of styles and learn how to adapt and not have the same gameplan the whole fight like haye did or arreola.

Absolutely brilliant idea, I think that the Heavyweight division would be loads better then, give it more excitement..

Weather it will happen I doubt that, the whole brothers situation would be silly. I say leave Wlad out and in goes Vitali. Then if Vitali lose's his belt Wlad will have to jump in and get it back lol!

not a bad idea. but imo klits shouldn't be in a tournament. let's give the other guys some good fights and exposure. whoever wins the tourney then faces one of klits perhaps.
