If you have what it takes, you beat your opponent.

By this time next week the number of excuses made by him and his little fairy friends will eclipse the number of punches thrown in the fight.

It's also typical pathetic Haye and Booth to expect "parity" in a future contract after the way they embarrassed the sport in front of a worldwide audience.

He deserves a 20% cut at the very most for any fight against Wlad or Vitali in the future.
Yes, 20% at most, seems about right, although I wouldn't use the word "deserves" quite so freely. The word "charity" sounds more factual, because all he deserves is to give his ill-gotten gains back to the poor suckers who spent a fortune shlepping over to Hambourg.

He would have been more respected if he'd "revealed" that both he and Haye were perpetrating a huge scam on the British people and the boxing fans of the world. The German police missed a great opportunity to charge him with fraud.

That is, if you can believe Booth. I don't.

haye should be arrested for talking trash like he's the man and putting forth a performance like that...on the same night as the ufc no doubt. i can already hear the tattoo covered douche bags with their faux hawk hair cuts and ed hardy shirts saying how much better mma is than boxing.

              bruno knows!.

im not happy with it,and hayes performance,he had the tools,he landed, but he needed to dig deep,go through the pain, risk falling over injured in rushing forward and following up landed punches with combinations that bring more landed shots to buz wlad.

or atleast try keep wlad worried,he left jabbed and landed when he did so,he should have done that to keep the output higher and punched/pawed the jab aswell as ducking and slipping.

he kept to his style of low output, pot shots and counter punching.

wlad won by landing more, even if he didnt ever land any good combos and barely land any decent single punches.

i actually thought haye landed some of the better shots when he threw them right.

booth b/s dont sit with me,your both stonking rich, you can take no money and fight if you want it,rich enough to not need no more money!.

You have to say that haye fought a good fight his reactions and fainting were **** on the money, wladimir could barely land on haye at all the only thing haye did not have in this fight was the return punches and although the score cards were very wide in wladimirs favour the rounds were tight it wasn't a bad fight from either fighters wladimir deserved his win and in the end i was happy for him he showed emotion and heart after the fight and thats whats been missing fromhim hes definitly got a fan in me now .

Haye fought a weird fight, he can't have tought he was gonna outpoint Wlad in Germany by throwing half of Wlads punches so either his plan was to get Wlad out with one big punch or he fought just to survive and claim his paycheck. If he wanted to get Wlad out with one big punch he should have tried more. Bad tactic and bad execution from Haye. Boring fight. Wlad could have pressed more and tried to get Haye out of there but as he had trouble finding his target and also a bad chin i understand why he didn't.

This fight brought a lot of casual fans and mainstream media coverage in Europe. They did not like what they saw, this fight hurt the sport.

The puzzling thing is, as David Haye himself has said he had TWO sets of numbing shots to his little toe prior to the fight, is - How in the hell was the pinky toe an issue if it was completely NUMB during the fight?? Anyone who has ever had a shot of local anesthetics knows that you can't feel **** for atleast an hour or two afterwards, and he had two of them. I've been completely cut open and stitched together with locals and there's no way his toe felt anything at that time of that fight.

Yes he might not feel pain but by numbing it you can't really feel or move it, like when you go to the dentist and you can't really drink anything afterwards cos one side of your mouth is numb. Although to be honest the toe shouldn't make that much difference and probably wasn't much of a factor during the fight.
