Only so much Steward can do, he can't fight for Wlad in the ring. If he did we'd probably have a Wlad brutal KO win. I wish Steward could some how control what Wlad does that way we'd have a brutal KO yesterday.
This was now the 3rd fight of Wladimir against a superdefensive fighter (Ibragimov, Chambers, Haye) and Manny Steward doesn't have any clue how to instruct Wladimir.
Manny talked ridiculous nonsense like "Haye is tiring" (after round 2) and had no advice except "let your hands go" but I would have thought that already after the Ibragimov fight THEY SHOULD HAVE TRAINED MOVES/TACTICS against ultradefensive fighters.
I was very disappointed in Manny. Both in terms of preparation and during the fight.
Haye was gassed early... the guy was doing cartwheels around the ring, that's why his activity level dropped from round four, on.
It's not Steward's fault that his fighter wasn't willing enough to coerce Haye into actually engaging.
It reminds me of what Mayweather said to Naazim Richardson before the Mosley fight about respecting him but him [Richardson] not being able to fight for Mosley in the ring.
