Not only did he get topical creams/injections/meds but once you get in the fight you got so much addrenaline and dopamine being released into your brain that you cant feel pain. Once Wlad landed a few punches the only place that would hurt would be his head/brain. He never felt that little toe, he ran away for 12 rounds just fine, threw his Hayemaker just fine.

This is what Wlad does best, he dominates them so bad that all they think about is surviving. Hard to get a KO against a much smaller guy who is just running away and looking not to get KO'd.

1. yes broken bones matter in a fight, haye wouldve lost regardless but saying it has no impact is just ignorant.

adrenaline does somewhat numb the pain but you do feel pain in the ring trust me. i dont even have to argue that point, fight yourself instead of being a e-warrior and u will find out.

3. haye wasnt running or just trying to survive, he was trying to take wlads head off every round, but he had to do it intelligently. wlad is taller, has longer reach, fast hands, good timing, great precision and most importantly great boxing IQ.

as a shorter fighter u need to walk through a distance where your oponent can hit you but you cant hit him, wlad is great at controling distance and not letting ppl get close. haye picked his spots and tried, but he couldnt be reckless. haye tried to get to wlad and fought his heart out but wlad was just too good, he shut hayes offense down.

I thought the way Haye rabbitted on in his post fight interviews just showed how gutted he was. He was sure that he could beat Wlad and the reach and speed of wlad were just too much for him. Not good to make the interview about his toe injury but don't see it as a huge problem. He had no problem with the decision and did give wk a few problems in the fight.
