I did enjoy watching David Haye eat Dr Steelhammers jab for 12 rounds. He showed the art of blocking with your face. It's not an easy technique, but Haye appears to have mastered it.

Obviously Dr Steelhammer doesn't have the BOMBS of Carl The Cat Thompson who had Haye chicken walking across the ring. Only time will tell how bad those shots were. I think some of the stuff Haye was coming out with before the fight, show the parkinsons may already be setting in.Comment

Haye was/is a Joke
This fight just shows how bad the heavyweight division really is today and how really, really bad Haye is as heavyweight, The biggest embarrassment was just how uninformed most of today's boxing fans are today and how easy a no talent unproven challenger with just a big mouth can with the media's help be projected in to what was called the biggest heavyweight fight in years! Lol! Haye as I suspected was there for the payday and good for him, it's a tough sport might as well take millions then blame it on his toe! ROLF!!! Thanks to all of you Haye loyalists!! I made a huge betting payday and knew I would!!! Easiest money I ever made. And a personal thank you to David Haye for pulling off the biggest farce in recent memory! His defence was good actually, he slipped a lot of jabs and rolled with most of the others.
There weren't many jabs that landed in the usual thudding manner, Haye had a little bruising after the fight but not much.Comment

stop being silly, haye dodged loads and loads of them, wlad landed enough to won but haye at the end just took risks with his hands down, he didnt eat anything
wlad easily outboxed haye but didnt dominate and destroy him, he was the better man, be gracious in victoryComment

Haye proved he has a good chin, he didn't get hurt a single time... he managed to stun Wlad at the end there though.Comment

Wlad didn't get the knockout everyone predicted and neither did Haye.
Wlad stuck to his game plan perfectly and frustrated Haye with the 1-2.
The jab is the great equalizer and Wlad executed it to perfection.
That was an excellent job/jab by Wlad and solidified his win as the top HW.
I was never a big fan of Wlad's, but he earned my respect along with Manny Steward who did a great job of twitching Wlad's skills to perfection.
Respect to Haye for stepping up to the big guy and giving it his all.
A rematch should be quite interesting if Haye learned anything from the fight.Comment
