  • Does a 30lb weight + 4" in height and unfair advantage in any weight division?

Im not taking anything away from wlad, he fought a great fight and deserves credit for his win,

but after watching a post fight video it really got me thinking about the fairness of the fight, and for that matter, aaany klitschko fights where they outweight their opponent by over 5-10 pounds.

Haye weighed in at 15 3
Wlad weighed in at 17 5

    = 30 pounds difference

There is a 4" height advantage for wlad

Now would it be a fair fight if a middleweight took on a super featherweight = 30 pounds difference?

Besides his impressive skill set, could this be the obvious reason my K2 have dominated the division with an unfair advantage?

would you be happy with a Middleweight dominating the super featherweigh deviion?

or should the governing bodies create a new weighr divison which would make it a more even playing feild?

there are certain advantages haye had in the fight as well though

despite what anyone says he was quicker and in terms of his general movement and body work he was far more athletic than wlad, no excuses

wlad has his advantages and haye had his but wlad won it at the end, i hope we see these two at it again

You are right the Physical advantages they have are huge.. but it's not the be all and end all.. because someone like Tyson who is what? 5,11 would destroy Wlad stylistically.

I do get your point though.. why do other fighters get so much credit from coming up a few weight divisions.. when at HW the difference can be 30-40 pounds + height DIff

Exactly Haye is bigger than Joe Louis, Frazier, Marciano et yet they would all knock him out.

But why is it such a big feat when say Pacquiao goes up a few weight classes and beats guys then? because the difference between Valuev/Haye is far bigger then say Pac/Cotto

but I thought Haye came in light on purpose because he is so quick and will punish Wlad? Thats why you guys picked him right? Now its unfair? teh lulz

Everyone comes in with a gameplan against Wlad and will "put the pressure on him" but once they are toe to toe with him and he is throwing his jab that hurts when it lands and his right straight then your gameplan goes out the window.

Look at the first 1-2 rounds of Wlads last 10 fights, all fighters came in with their gameplan but as soon as they got hit once they turtled/tried not to get KO'd.

There is a reason for this, Wlad is too dominant, he is a master chess player, he knows what you are going to do and will punish you if you try, Haye knew if he jumped inside there wouldve been a Left Hook / Right Straight waiting for him.

When will people realiize this? 1 fight is a fluke 2 fights is lucky, but 15-20 fights in a row? You are watching a master being the best in his sport dominating people and making them look like complete bums.

If Wlad and Vitali werent boxing you guys would be like omg
              Arreola
              Adamek
              Haye
Chirosa are the bests omg they so exciting they go and get KO'd in 1 round omg they are teh greatest evAr!!@#

Now you see the diffirence between ATG and World Class.

Wlad makes world class boxers look like amateur kids learning to box.

I was coming in here to say the same thing, how fast people forget, instead of giving Wlad props for winning, they try to find a way out, TS you failed.

At that size what you gain in size you lose in speed Haye just isnt good enough Joe Louis, Ali, Foreman could all beat Wlad.
