Did Haye get himself banned for life from HBO?

After this terrible stinker and Merchant and Lampley ripping Haye a new one during the fight, I doubt we'll ever see him again on HBO? First and last time is my guess.

    Good riddance, David.

Who cares? If he was that desperate to get on American TV he'd just go to Showtime. Wlad has shown that American coverage isn't needed to get mega-bucks.

I couldn't care less if he's never on HBO again. If they don't appreciate his (or Wlad's) skills as boxers and Grandpa munster is on his period every time a European fights then they don't deserve have them on there.

Who cares,if he destroys his next opponent I'm sure another network will take him.Haye was injured and he fought an awkward opponent.

at the end of the day it's an American network.

And it only really works when the fights are on their shores.

if so good for haye and even better for boxing, showtime covered some of hayes fights in the past hopefully they will pick em up again.

hbo sucks so bad, but since they have the funds they cover most of the big fights only to do a terrible job every time. it seems to me the hbo crew (merchant in particular) go out of their way to ruin the fight for the viewers.

look at the dawson-pascal fight, not a épic fight but not a bad one either by any means. quite entertaining or atleast it wouldve been if it wasnt for merchants constant *****ing, thats all he does is complain. he talks about tactical fights like its the worst thing in the world then tries to wreck them for everyone.

wlad-haye wasnt what ppl expected but it wasnt a bad fight and u certainly cant bash either fighter. haye tried, wlad was just too skillful for him. at first he tried to pick his spots as you would expect, when he couldnt reach wlad he tried to counter instead. wlad was just too good but he tried. as did wlad obviously, he walked haye down but he couldnt get wreckless since haye was constantly trying to set him up for a big punch.

it was a chess match but whats wrong with that? i enjoyed it, after i put the volume on mute that is.

showtime would know how to cover it properly, thay have commentators who understand the sport and call it in a proffessional manner.
