    The morning after

I don't run away like ****s do so I always planned to make this thread regardless. It was just damn impossible to get on the site after the fight

What happened was a pretty exciting fight, why? because haye was going for the ko at all times, wlad did what wlad does

Jab jab Jab and then hold on, he did that the whole fight with very few rights, end of the day it was the right tactics and he got the job done

haye was just too small, I thought steward got it spot on, haye had to reach to get to wlad a lot, but when haye threw, wlad also ran backwards and moved his chin to wave any punches. The exception was twice, in round 3 and 12 when haye landed flush but wlad grabbed to save himself

The ref I thought was a disgrace, wlad leaned all night, Haye did milk it a bit, all that was needed was a point deduction for both fighters, wlad should have gotten one in round 12, he held on when haye landed and the ref let him. I can't believe the ref gets to ref world title fights, he clearly is not good enough and was influenced by the wlad camp who screamed all night

End of the day Haye needs to take it like a man like everyone else will bar klit fans, only guy I respect in the build up is Freedom because he is the only proper fan, the rest of you are tossers really,

Haye was at around 210 pounds at the fight, could have easily made crusier, they took a gamble to go for the heavyweight crown, he was just 10-12 pounds too short to really make a difference

Regardless of that wlad did not really hurt or destroy haye, wlad was very defensive, he did what was needed, used his jab and never got in close, if Haye did get close wlad grabbed

I don't see anyone beating wlad not, regardless of this I can see Haye beatin Vitali who has a worse defence than wlad and is slower

I thought wlas movement was sensational, how he followed his plan was exceptional, I thought Hayes defence was also like wlads really good

fair play, wlad, well deserved, I do think haye can beat him but damn he got his tactics wrong big time, his excuses was also bad to watch

I am off for a while because I am a Bit peeed off with haye and how he his gameplan was not good enough, combinations, he needed to take a punch to land one, I am still convinced he can beat wlad but thing is wlad would prob would 8 or 7 times out of 10

All the credit goes to wlad, I don't see anyone beating him unless they have the speed and power of Haye with a decent size and reach

errm haye threw 290 punches and landed 72. thats avg. 6 per round and he threw a single punch in the 10th. not much of an effort by any margin. haye couldn't find a way to get into wlad's jab just like most others haven't before him. when he tried something new,he either slipped or ended on the other side of the ropes.
but then again not much props to wlad either. he was waaay to defensive,no real intention to go in for a ko.
overall the fight ended up the way i had anticipated, and the loss wasn't too bad for haye either.

wlad did not land a lot, he landed enough, both guys were defensive which was a shame in the end. haye did have good head movement but wlad was just way too big

Way to throw your ignorance in there by using the word ****. For someone who got owned plain and simple, you have a lot of nerve.

Of course you had your thread pre-written, you knew Haye wasn't winning this fight.

The way Haye was acting before and during the fight I think Haye knew he wasnt going to win the fight.

You were fooled by David Haye. I knew this guy was going to fight like Valuev. All this 'I'm going to be like Mike Tyson' was ridiculous and ******.

Haye was just outclassed in there from start to finish. I think his power is overrated considering he caught Wlad a couple of times.

Wlad could have took Haye out had he been slightly more aggressive.

Most people also know Haye isn't a 1 punch knockout artist even though he wouldn't admit it. If I were him I would retire, he can't beat Wlad or Vitali and I believe Adamek would beat him as well.

FYI when I saw the word **** up there I stopped reading. His pre fight threads were a joke and now his post fight excuses thread is a joke along with having to call people names.

Some people just don't get it.

haye got beat fair but both fighters were too scared to engage into a proper fight, wlad knew hes got a good chance of getting knocked out and haye was sacred to throw more than just the left right, was not impressed with either fighter, wlad being so much bigger and winning easy should of gone for the knockout after all the **** haye has been talking.both men should call it a day or the whole of the heavyweight division should call it a day

So Wlad should retire for winning almost every round?

                    good comments.

Haye didnt do what he needed to do,he didnt press,he didnt throw combos and keep coming forward and throwing more even if loads missed.

he still landed hard shots and stopped wlad landing much good, and both shockingly had good chins!.

his toe stopped his balance and power from the inside, thats why he flopped over so easy when wlad held and clinched.

wlads clinches and holding, especially behind the head,is plain CHEATING,no b/s about it,the amount he does it,unnecesarily when not hurt he is cheating to win every time.

the ref was a joke, total coward, infleunded by steward.

maybe their could be a seperate division of super heavyweights with a lot of them like klitschoks height reach and weight.

Haye style is what he stuck to ,pot shots, counters,no combinations, not coming forward, not busy enough. he still beats every other heavies out there.

and i also think he has or had a better shot vs vitali, sure vitali fights better, but he also throws more,so haye has more to counter,he has his hands low so haye can land easier,he only leans back and doesnt block punches,he isnt as fast, powerful, well co-ordinated as wladimir either.

I think a arreola type pressure fighter who gives punches while taking them on the march forward could do wlad over, also fighters like price and helanius for same size stand a better chance in some aspects.

wlas and vitali have the belts, but they havent put in any good winning performances to win fans over,to bring excitment to the division,to inspire people to start boxing like ali, fraizer and foreman all did.

if their not exciting to watch then their isnt as much point in fighting, their isnt much glory in winning, they dont fight to their full potential and dont care about enertaining and about boxings state of health.

like football(soccer) team like mourhinos inter milan or chelsea, they were defensive, boring,sc****d wins but excited no one and bored the life out of people by winning, where as barca play amazing football, excite and inspire and still win.
