I am by no means a Tarver fan, I just think it's crazy that nobody talks about his punching technique, or how he throws those sneaky lead right hooks with his head completely down not even looking at the target he's aiming for. I know the guy is full of himself and smoked crack I just think the man deserves a little more respect is all..just watch him fight and forget anything about jones..i guess when you dethrone a charismatic guy like Jones Jr the public kinda puts your skill to the side, and gives you a title such as 'Theif of my champion', as was the case with dlh when he dethroned chavez, or holmes when he dethroned ali.

but yeah when he throws that lead right hook and dips his head if you watch it in slo mo youll see what im talking about.

a punch like that takes 20 + years to develop.

I respect him until he opens his mouth, and says that he is the greatest and beat the most brilliant RJJ in a fantastic fight. Then he sounds like an *ss and loses respect. QED.

Tarver does have some skill and I don't blame him for hyping up a a faded version of RJJ because most fighters so stuff like that. Very few would admit they would get killed by that fighter in their prime. Danny Williams is one of the few, admitting Tyson would have beat him 12 years ago.
