    Will Dawson-Hopkins go like Taylor-Hopkins?

A close disputed fight where both fighters have good moments, but ultimately the title and decision goes to the younger fighter, must to Bernard's disbelief.

I'm not sure. Chad Dawson is technically better than Jermain Taylor. But the thing is, prime Taylor would never lose to Jean Pascal. Taylor was very good against wild fighters. And saying Dawson is technically better doesn't mean Taylor was this wild brawler, just that Dawson was a better boxer, but Taylor was a good boxer too.

Also, Taylor's hard stiff jab gave Hopkins hell. Hopkins sometimes looked like amateur against Taylor the way he just ran in to jabs like a maniac. Even "damaged" Taylor, badly hurt iron-chinned Carl Froch with some sort of short left/jab, eventually knocking him down with a right hand.

No, no NO. Chad Dawson doesn't fight with that kind of determination, Taylor fought like he wanted it. Dawson still hasn't learned his lesson from the Pascal fight. I hope Hopkins gives him a beat down, of course that isn't gonna happen, but I'm gonna hope for it.

No. Dawson doesnt have half of the fire, drive, determination and passion that a prime JT had in the ring. He was straight taking it to Hopkins at times. Letting his hands go with aggression behind very punch. Dawson doesnt have that kind of heart. Hopkins will pick him apart.

I think Hopkins will be more aggressive early on whereas his strategy against talyor was to start late probably waiting for him to slow down.

JT is a far better boxer than Dawson. For some (lmo) Dawson does look better throwing his show punches.

I don't know about the workrate stuff. Correct me if i'm wrong, but Dawson and Taylor average about the same punches thrown per round/ And if it's not the same, it's about 10 punches apart at worst.

But Taylor throws the better combo's.

Dawson WILL get to put together nice combo's against Hopkins, like he did with Johnson, Diaconu and Tarver. Pascal was just too wild for Dawson, Dawson wasn't ready for him at the time. Not that he was green, I thought he might have been overconfident and overlooked Pascal. But i'm Dawson will go in there like a hungry lion, to decisively beat Bernard Hopkins. I would like to bet on this fight.

I think Dawson's determination will be through the roof in this fight.

I just can't see Hopkins picking him apart.

Steward will set up the perfect game plan for Dawson to cruise to a decision.

Taylor isn't even in Dawson's league. To say that Dawson doesn't have determination or passion is bull****. JT was never really a special boxer to begin with, Dawson picks Hopkins apart. And obviously you have no idea what Dawson is capable of, or how good he really is.

He learned his lesson from the Pascal fight. Against Pascal he had a long-lay off, he was suffering from personal problems, mentally he wasn't at 100% for the fight.

Against Hopkins Dawson is definitely more motivated. He looked pretty good against Diaconu, much better then he did against Pascal, not to mention he just came back from a long-lay off, also with a new trainer.

Dawson is always finding ways to reinvest himself or to get motivated again.
