Roy Jones is a boxer not an actor. That should tell you the reason in itself. if you have ever seen a movie where an athlete tries to act it is usually horrible. if you dont believe me check out any of the tv series that Dennis Rodman starred in like special ops. Its best to have them just smile at the camera and shut up. The more talking and true acting you try to have them do the worse it is for the movie and the patrons. (Or if you remember the magic hour) watch that for a while and you will see what I mean.

Right, but he would not need to do much acting if he were in fighting scenes, which is what the thread is about.

i remember how unsettled people were at the theater, everyone was like,

OH **** THATS ROY JONES!!

and he didint fight, those same people were like "roy jones didint do ****!"

How Roy didn't get nominated by the Academy I'll never know. Not just for his role in the Matrix sequel... but for his acting in the classic movie "I Gave It My All, Honest" last Saturday night.
