Melligen showed that he has good skills & has pop in his punches & even thou Lujan was the 1 putting on the pressure, in the 1st 5 rounds Melligen was the 1 controlling the fight by landing the better, cleaner & harder shots & was winning all the rounds, I personally thought Lujan was probably gonna get KO'd cause a lot of them shots were landing hard & flush on Lujan's face & body.. & all of the sudden from the 6th on it was a different fight, cause Lujan kept the pressure on & wouldn't stop throwing punches & they finally took their toll as Melligan went down in the 6th, 7th, 8th & finally in the 9th it was over!! Very good & exciting fight..I've seen Lujan a couple of times & he always puts up a good fight, as a matter of fact I was watching the fight against Margacheato(live) in 2005 when Margarito hit him with a straight right & practically ripped Lujan's ear & left it dangling & that fight was just as good as this 1..

Teddy Atlas is ******ed, that's why I don't pay any mind to what he says..95% of the time he's wrong!!

I watched this fight drunk late last night. I had to keep convincing myself that Miguel Cotto wasn't on FNF and he wasn't fighting in a new style...

Seriously though Lujan has always been one of those guys who's better than he's made out to be. He was entertaining as hell last night. Another guy I'd like to see Canelo face that I bet wouldn't get the chance. Maybe Berto's come back fight? Either way he should be close to a title shot now.
