i blame his promoter for this. It's a shame really, especially after having great consecutive performances, it would've been the perfect time to get his name out there in the mainstream. Now with all these matchmaking, I think he's blowing his opportunity to be that superstar. Especially now that Floyd is back, along with Manny, and possibly Ortiz starting to make a name for himself...Martinez is running out of time and 'room' in the superstardom of boxing. It's a shame really - what a waste of talent.

I've been waiting to here who out there can get him to superstardom that is willing to fight him? Even if he really is ducking Pirog (which I don't believe) that isn't going to do it. Who could he really be fighting in October that would raise his profile any? I'll be waiting for the answer.

Martinez is lost in the shuffle right now. That's why he needs to fight the best guy next to him so he can keep his name up there. And that guy is not Barker or Macklin. It's Pirog or Sturm. Sturm is protected and afraid so obviously it'll never be him. That leaves Pirog and last I checked they wanted the fight.

What the f**k? This better not be true, after all that s**t he was talking about Chavez avoiding him, he better take that fight.

But if they meant after the Chavez fight, that's just as ******ed. Fight Geale, Sturm, Pirog or Golovkin dammit! I mean why would you fight the guy who had an even fight with Sturm, who has the title? That's ******ed..
