Am I hearing things or at 4:32 when Buffer announced Haye's weight he announced Haye as the WBO Heavyweight Champion? He ****ed that one up. Great atmosphere, surprising but great!!
Our fans aren't the best in the world, our fans aren't boxing fans they are England fans, they take crappy songs from football matches and turn them into boxing songs, they won't be singing when Haye gets chinned.
Everyone over here I know is backing Haye. The thing is the British public do not have a CLUE about boxing. They jump on the bandwagon for the publicised fights like Lewis-Tyson, Haye-Wlad, Hatton-Mayweather, but they know NOTHING (generally speaking). A friend of mine who claims to be a big boxing fan went round saying that this was "the biggest fight for over a generation". It's a pretty big fight, but that is going way way too far, it proves that UK fans are blind when it comes to the global scene.
I think it was Tunney or one of his many aliases who was going on about Haye suffering stage fright in front of 55K supporters... As you can see Tunney, you can have 50K Krouts and only 5K Brits and the Krouts will feel like they are away from home with the staunch support we bring.
British supporters can't be beaten in my opinion.
the Brits made my boy Wlad feel like a visitor in his own home ...good ****!!!...on my way to the barber to get a fresh cut and then its off to Hamburg...supporting my boy Wlad to the fullest but will be looking to party with the Brits like its 2006 again!! lol
