A few days ago, manager/trainer Kevin Cunningham announced on BoxingScene.com that his star pupil, former champion Devon Alexander, was moving up to the welterweight division. Cunningham would like to have Alexander make his welterweight debut against Paulie Malignaggi. Earlier this year, Malignaggi was very critical of Alexander's performance against Timothy Bradley.
