Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr: Canelo Needs Respect, Younger Opponents

WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is not paying any attention to the recent challenge from trainer "Chepo" Reynoso, who said Saul "Canelo" Alvarez would be willing to move up to 160-pounds to face Chavez in the near future. Chavez has advised Alvarez, the WBC champion at 154-pounds, to earn his respect by facing younger opponents who can actually fight.

jr must have bumped his head. Canelo must fight younger better more well known fighters to even have a fight with u????? Not u??? WTF?? hehehe please name me one guy out of everyone hes fought that even remotely comes close to these points, just one. dont worry, I'll wait!! his whole list reads Bum , bum and coming out of retirement bum. Canelo is way more proven and solid the jr will ever be. plus Canelo just told u he'd move up in weight and fight u right now. ur answer is this will never happen. CANELO BY KO. Full stop!! Also stop running from martinez the real wbc champ.

Both of these guys are jokes. They're taunting each other, and yet they refuse to fight the likes of Cotto, Margarito, Angulo, Williams, Margarito, and Martinez. **** that. I'm gonna watch real boxing with real fighters.

Chavez became too big headed. Thinks too much of himself. He should fight Martinez once and for all and see for himself what a real challenge means.

JCC Jr is acting like his resume is better or that he's much older and wiser compared to Canelo. He's taken too many punches to the head.
