How good is Jesus Gonzales?

I've never seen the kid fight, but apparently he's beaten Andre Berto (FOUR times), Sechew Powell, Alfredo Angulo and Andre Ward in the amateurs (but wait, wasn't Ward's last loss when he was 12?). He was stopped early in his career according to boxrec, but hey, stuff happens. Perhaps he's good. I'm just surprised that I've never heard of him despite his amazing amateur record.

Has anyone followed his career? I'm curious to know how good he is. Perhaps he can add to the excitement in the SMW division.

Gonzales was once regarded as one of the top amateurs in the U.S. As a pro he was also highly regarded as a prospect until Jose Luis Zertuche upset him by stopping him. I watched him a few times and he seems heavyhanded, but I don't know how far he will go after that one loss in 2005.
