Corrales will fight smarter this time. He was killing Castillo from the outside, he stays there and he'll be all right.
Corrales should fight smart but I wonder if he will. He has the mentality of making it a war. If the fight is like the first, it can go either way. If Corrales stays outside a little more, it's an easier win for Corrales and a clean KO. My gut tells me we'll get another war, very much like the first fight.

Castillo has a lot of power and he's a great fighter. Corrales is just too ambitious. Although fighting in the outside may also be foolish. Castillo is a very good boxer. Ask mayweather, Castillo got a rigged decision against him against Floyd. That only proves that Castillo is a very good boxer. Corrales playing it in the outside is not a good plan.
Corrales should turn this one again into a brutal slugfest. By the 10th round, Corrales was leading way ahead on points and the plan to fight Castillo toe to toe was a brilliant plan.
Nevermind the spitting issue. Corrales paid for it anyway via a point deduction given to him by the ref WITHOUT any warning. The bottomline is, when the tide turned against Castillo, he couldn't handle the pressure and he was taking 6 shots without him moving.
This will go either way but I'm for Corrales. One of the greatest fight I've seen.
I cannot make a pick. They left virtually nothing to choose between them the last time.
Sounds too general.....but this will come down to one guy being unable to take as much as the other.
I'll root for Corrales (though I consider myself a serious Castillo fan, also)...
But....forget about Chico coming out & outboxing Castillo. It's not easy to outbox JLC in the first place. Secondly, Corrales will be unable to resist the opportunites to lay his big bombs in there, & his hardest punches are delivered in close- not from outside.
While I don't think it will match the first fight....I can't see anything beyond another war of attrition happening.
Who will survive ? I just can't say.

What fight were you watching? Killing Castillo from the outside? Remember the 10th when Diego hit the canvas and was badly hurt? It was from the outside!
Whoever wins in my minds does so within 7-8 rounds.

true, it was from the outside but that was after 9 rounds of amazing punishment. corrales got hit with alot of clean blows within those 9 rounds without going down. if he does'nt put himself in so much harm's way this time, he should do well on the outside.

Wrong! (at least in my mind)
Watch Chcio fights and you will notice one common theme, all of his knockdowns come when he is fighting at distance. Most of the time he hits the canvas he is not even hurt he is just surprised.
I dont no if Chico has ever been knocked down when he is involved in hardcore in fighting...
Why is Chico percieved as this master boxer over Castillo???

Way ahead on points? The scorecards tell a different story (source - boxrec.com):
Daniel Van de Wiele 86-85
Lou Moret 87-84
Paul Smith 84-87
Ahead on two cards, one by a mere one point. This fight was there for the taking by either guy.
If the brilliant plan had Corrales way ahead on points, and he wasn't, maybe it wasn't so brilliant LOL.
