They only wanna fight in their home turf which is very notorious for hometown decisions. They think they have better fighters compared to the Japs, the SoKors and Flips in the lower divisions and records show that they have more world champs than any of those countries. But if they think they are so good -- why the heck they come out of their backyard and show their stuff in front of the North American audience here in the U.S.?
What's Wrong With Thai Fighters?

Thailand is kind of like Japan and Germany, where you're only chance of winning is knocking your opponent out.
Yo check this, out of all the Asian countries, Filipino fighters are the most well-known around the world...
Here comes the irony...The Philippines don't even dominate boxing in Asia, Japanese and Thailanders do! There are more Japanese and Thailander champions currently and in the past than Pinoy champions overall but how come very few of them are known worldwide?
Injin Chi, the 2nd most popular Asian fighter right now is not even Japanese or Thailander, but Korean.
See the irony?Last edited by SuckaPunch; 10-04-2005, 12:00 AM.Comment

Are you kidding? That's what it takes to get a draw in Thailand if you're a foreigner.Originally posted by crazyvinceThailand is kind of like Japan and Germany, where you're only chance of winning is knocking your opponent out.
We get Thai boxers here occasionally. I saw Ratatatatatatatatatchy (or however the hell you spell it) Sor Vorapim fight hee a few weeks ago against a no name Filipino fighter. I was bored as hell because Vorapim treated it like a sparring session instead of trying to get his far outclassed opponent out of there.Comment
