I was talking about currently active, but Ottke not a bad shout for most boring of all time, though I'm not sure if he does beat Cory Spinks.
Is John Ruiz currently active? I thought he retired after the Haye fight.Comment

Funny how they always seem to get to that state, too, isn't it?
So it's not good enough for you that he ko's damn near everyone that steps in front of him. Oh no! You've got to have a Brewster-Golota beatdown ko every time, right?Comment

I am not sure if Wlad is the least exciting but he is certainly the most frustrating. All you want him to do is throw a combination or 2...but it never comes. Only when he hurts the other fighter does he open up, and quite often he scores a 1 or 2 punch knockout anyway so you don't even get a really good finish or combination at the end either.
Ever since he got ko'd the first time he fights scared.
Mayeather is not boring, but is not particularly exciting either, he has been in some bad fights but the sheer artistry of the man is worth watching.Comment

The problem isn't the ko, it is everything that happens before that, his opponent is so over-matched sometimes its ridiculous, but he lets the fight drag out. On top of that he holds an awful lot, and doesn't throw many combinations even though he can be a very good combination puncher, he has developed a style which makes him tough to beat so that is good for him, but he is awful to watch, I think boxing fans would just like him to be a little more adventerous, really put his stamp on a performance. You can see his own trainer trying to get him to open up earlier and more often in fights, and Manny even gets annoyed with some of his performances. Winning is important, the most important thing...but not far behind is entertaining the crowd. Wladimir very rarely entertains me.Comment
