I dont know much about joe rogan I saw him argue with Lou Dibella and have seen his stand up a couple times which I am not a big fan of. But wow I am surprised the man knows his Boxing before I thought he was one of those guys who did know anything about Boxing and was just like Boxing is dead but the man does have knowledge on the sport. This video below is one of the videos that makes me hate Boxing unfortunately.

I was not aware that Gerald dropped weight to make 168. It was his first fight moving up to 168, I don't see how he couldn't make 168 if he was making 160 before that.

I'm not sure if Rogan is right on that note.

From what I remember, McClellan was known for cutting too much weight too fast and this time Gerald blew up a little too much between fights and had a hard time making 168.
