I'd love to see him against some top competition, or even Wlad, since so many people say wlad is a puss
Of couse hes a heavyweight. Have you ever seen him? Hes 6'1 or 6'2 and in one of his mma fights he weighed 236 pounds and has a strong physice.

It will be interesting to see how they try and match him.

IMO the greedy promoter will need to try and make every fight an event against some sort of washed up name or a grudge fight. If they try and approach this the honest way he will be found out very early into his career by a club fighter. This means they have to cash in with every fight because each one could be his last.

Ive seen his street brawls and weve all seen him knocke dout by jabs, gassed within seconds, hopelessly exposed by nobodies so its more of a side show circus act that a serious career he will be having. Similar to Butterbean who never intended on climbing the ranks but was given his moment because he was recognisable to other journeymen.

Im sure his 1 round win over Ray Mercer will continue to be referenced in an attempt to sell him even though it was in a cage. Imo he will never have the stamina to go beyond 4 rounds but for his first couple of fights there will be some media attention im sure.

I don't really mind the guy cashing in, but anyone in this thread who regards this as serious news is just naive. It's a gimmick and nothing more. Kimbo's so-called "transition to boxing" is nothing more than an effort to squeeze a bit more currency out of the drawing power of his hefty beard.

And does nobody realize that this is being done by Gary Shaw, i.e. the same Gary Shaw who tried to build up an MMA promotion around this fraud, and instead drove the promotion to bankruptcy for his efforts? So people, just stop talking about how good you think he will or won't do in boxing because he isn't in it as a legitimate sportsman, he is in it as a circus clown and nothing more. And saying that doesn't make me a hater so save it, I am merely calling it as it is.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting a little excitement with this fight, but also a VERY brief boxing career for Ferguson once he's exposed by a mid level fighter.

LOL @ 4 Round "Main Event".

There's a problem when a boxing match is shorter than a UFC fight.

Is Kimbo Slice human?? Take a second and look closely at Kimbo does he look like a normal person or some wildman captured in the wilds?? Kimbo should capitalize on this and be brought to the ring in chains in a cage eating bloody raw meat and released as the bell rings. Talk about drama and excitement. Boxing needs Kimbo Slice. he could be the biggest draw in the world.
