It may sound racist or intolerant or even prejudice, and for that I apologize (as that is not my intention); however, it's time for the promoters to stop taking advantage of our passion/pastime by trying to fool us into buying a fight by simply putting a Latino fighter on the card. Especially when one fighter is reported to be making about $40 million and the Hispanic fighter is reported to only be making about $2 million... I find it insulting and will not be contributing to that. Those of you who feel the same way, join me! Those of you who don't, don't.

Look here Bob Just because you just found out about the internet and think your all hip calling your Carlos Alberto trying to be ambiguously Hispanic. You need to get your shi.t together and make a real fight! Shane vs Pac is a disgrace and so is Pac vs JMM. Pull your head outta your ass and promote boxing. Ortiz is making 2 mill because that's about as much revenue he brings. stop hatting when he get's better you'll want to pull him away from GB promotions and make him fight soup cans while you craft the "next big thing" Go do your job Bob your opinion means shi.t here!

i am latino/hispanic and I don't care if a latino is on the card or not because I'm a boxing fan. I will be buying this fight, as I do all fights whether I think they garbage or not cause god gave me the means too afford it with no worry. Granted with alot of hard work in school, but if you don't want to watch it then don't. I think this fight is worth my money more than that other guys last three, which I also bought, so yes I will watch it. Ortiz is young, hungry for greatness and has a belt. Which is a joke on its own but if you have a belt then a t least defend against the best. You hear that JCC jr and that coming from a latino.

What does it matter? If Ortiz gets the upset he will get a huge pay day in his next fight....

I respect Ortiz for his gutsy win over Berto, but when ever I see his face or hear him talk, I just think, 'chump'.
