Yeah he talks such a great game and has physical gifts that should give him an advantage, but actually watching Haye fight you realize Wlad will probably kill him.

I wouldn't mind seeing an upset here but after weeks of listening to Haye talk, I've realized it's just that. Talk. Haye has a puncher's chance and that's never a good bet so I'm leaning toward the good doctor. But after hyping this fight up to all the casuals I know, it better be ****ing exciting.

I really hope Haye will actually back up his talk. I just want a good fight!
You know, I like the style of Haye, but I think he's in trouble I've watched a couple of his fights, and he has some bad bits..often throwing wide punches, setting himself off-balance, and leaving self open for counters.

One thing I've noticed is at CW Haye has been badly hurt by cuff shots, and his chin doesn't seem great. Whilst the chin of Wlad is suspect, I believe he can take a better than Haye. Wlad packs monstrous power, and I cannot see a CW taking his right hands.

Haye will not beat the ten count I doubt.

This could be an absolute stinker.

I've said before, Haye's biggest problem is he gets hit easily, as evident in the Ruiz and Valuev fights, and he has no heavyweight jab. It will only take 3 or 4 of the hardest jabs he's ever felt in his life before the game plan changes and he's in Eddie Chambers mode.

Well this is the thing. Haye being hit by the jab of Ruiz quite regularly and was caught on a couple of occasions.Wlad has one of the best jabs in heavyweight history. I cannot for a minute see Haye avoiding that jab. It's fast, crisp, accurate, and packs power. These guys have all said they would take away the jab, but to their dismay.

Wlad is to seasoned and experienced to be caught with anything flush. Plus, Wlad does not take risks and calculates the risks of a throwing a certain shot.

I honestly see this fight as Bryd job. I see Wlad being slightly more aggressive perhaps but he'll wait till the time is right.

I don't see Haye eating to many of those straight right hands. He really is a blown up CW IMO.

I've said all along that - Haye might as well attempt to bush rush Wlad whilst fresh and hope to land something big.

Good post, I agree with most of these points. Byrd actually would have the advantage over Haye because his defense was WAY better, he just didn't have any power and he had a MASSIVE chin at heavy.
