This is a dumb thread. No one is really all-talk and no action. The ones who are hyped usually at least have some "action".

OK...that's better I guess but to me there are no overrated fighters. I mean, there are only facts and most of the time the ppl who will say someone is overrated has an agenda.

EXAMPLE: Tito fans will say DLH is way overrated, etc.

yeah, i see what you mean. Although i don't neccesseraily agree, you've made some pretty good points there.
Maybe it's because i've never really thought about it that way.

Roy is the poster boy for overrated fighters. He was being put over Ali as a heavy and Robinson as a p4p great. He's coming back to earth only because his ego got bigger than his abilities. Tyson was overrated the past 15 yrs, so overrated that a journeyman heavy with no viable prospects might have a title shot because he beat Tyson just like another did before him.

Toney is overrated. Morales was overrated. Both have been good fighters, but really, it's wind down time for them.

Chavez was washed up, Whitaker was washed up & still beat Delahoya, he was robbed. That was a gift win for Delahoya. Camacho was washed up. He also got a gift win against Sturm.
