remove mccline and throw in ruslan chagaev.

man it makes me depressed that Wlad didn't fight in a better era. He is consistent though in beating the best contenders. Gotta count for something.

      1. Byrd I
      2. Chagaev
      3. Ibragimov
      4. Peter I
      5. Chambers, Thompson, or prime McCline

(Jameel was on a 19 fight winning streak, and was Ring #3 HW if I remember correctly)

He had other good wins: Brock, Jefferson, Brewster II, Shultz (who had been robbed in his title fight with Foreman), prime Barrett, prime Botha, etc.

Wlad was the first to stop Mercer, Barrett, Shultz, Chagaev, Thompson, Brock, Shufford, Bostice, etc.

David Haye will be a decent win, but not as good as Peter I, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Chambers, Thompson, prime McCline and Byrd I.

I'll rank Haye as #8 on Wlad's resume, close to the same as Brock.

If Wlad dominates like I expect I think Haye would be Wlad's 3rd best win .

yeah possibly, at least if David keeps fighting and beats the likes of Arreola or chambers.

I still think, if David retires after he loses to wlad that it could be the third best behind byrd and chagaev.

I don't agree with Haye being the 8th best win, but lets also not judge haye based on how good he could be.

He still hasn't beaten anyone good in the heavyweight division. You can't just get a great legacy from talking or being "funny".

I'll give Haye the benefit of doubt and put him as the 3rd best win, but if he retires after the july 2nd beatdown we will never know for sure. He could be a very mediocre heavyweight.

Ibragimov and Chagaev > Everybody on that list aside from maybe Byrd

I think those guys are heavily underrated. And the way Wlad dominated them makes those wins even greater.

As for how good Haye is compared to these guys, well he's certainly much more gifted. Maybe not as good, but certainly MUCH more gifted with his speed and power, which is what makes him such a better fight.

It's pretty poor reading...not his fault though and in his defense since Peter he has barely lost a round

I think you are wrong in saying that Haye :could be a very mediocre heavyweight-VERY wrong.

He IS a very mediocre heavyweight, and has a heavyweight record compared to what used to be called a "palooka", nowadays called a "tin can".

Not even an average journeyman....based on his record, not his mouth.
