I don't believe Steward has got full confidence in Wlad for this fight. He mentioned Lewis being his greatest HW at the presser for Wlads biggest fight, why would he bring that up? It's not going to fill Wlad with confidence hearing it, is it?

          "Divide & Conquer"

Playing the right mental warfare games, I just hope Haye can deliver in the ring.
He will certainly have had an effect on Wlad somewhere during all of the stunts that have been played, from the Tshirts, the Iphone game knocking his head off, turning up late and making him wait for him at press confrences, possibly having the ref changed last minute, having the WBA strap possibly pulled to trying to drive a wedge between Wlad and Steward

I dont know how many of Wlads previous opponents have tried the same tactics, but if just one of the things done has an effect then it's an advantage.
Hayeis convinced something has worked, so even if Wlad isnt effected you can bet Haye has had a kick out of it and will be taking an extra edge into the fight...thats my hope anyway

He said Wlad-Haye is the greatest HW fight that Steward was involved in (two great fighters at the peak of their careers). Obviously he then had to make some compliment to Lewis for being the greatest HW (but not necessarily participating in the greatest HW fight that Steward has been involved in). I think though that Lewis-V. Klitschko was the greatest HW fight that I have seen and that Steward was involved in.

Honestly, I don't think one should put much weight on what Haye is saying. He is probably misrepresenting what Steward had stated.
