No way would Haye generate that kind of money fighting in the states.

Haye isn't American, and there are no top American HW's for him to fight.

Even if Haye did build his brand up in the U.S, a Haye vs Klitschko fight on US PPV would not far surpass the 500k mark, if at all. With that, the UK PPV wouldn't be as popular due to the time difference, and German revenue would also be down.

This fight is as big as it could be in today's HW division.

if he were to come to the states, he wouldn't be where he is right now, and he'd have a few losses on his record. he's just trying to cash out. if not, he'd try to unify instead of declaring his retirement in advance....he knows he won't last.

He likely would not have given Beck a fight, knowing he'lose. But any one of the 10 contenders could have beaten him, and by now he'd have at leasy 6 losses on his record, more if he'd managed to get a title shot against, say, prime Ruiz, or Chris Byrd. Not to mention Oquendo, Sam Peter and just about every other name heavyweight out there.

Haye-Barret wasn't even shown in America.

Hbo might take a chance and televise his next fight with the ratings this klitshko fight will generate.
