meh. for all we know its just a ruse by floyd, pretending to be shot when he's not. remember that one of floyd's skills is in playing mind games.

maybe he's doing this to give Oritz a false sense of security.

or maybe people are simply over reacting. i for one DON'T want floyd to be out of shape. it would be a hollow victory if Pac fought and won against a shot floyd.

Pacquiao fans are rooting for Mayweather cuz they are affraid that Ortiz beats him first. Now they start getting delusional thoughts hoping that Pacquiao fights an old washed up Floyd to get a victory win...***** please! Lol if and that's a big IF Mayweather beats Ortiz then Pacquiao will be an easy fight cuz Pac makes so many more mistakes than Ortiz. Pac gets away with these mistakes to viewers eyes cuz he can take a punch and he throws a lot of punches to discourage opponents which is why he doesn't use a defense. Ortiz makes less mistakes, picks his shots well, has better defense and a longer reach which will give mayweather a hard time to pull and counter. With Pacquiao he'd make him look similar to Marquez...

Its hard to say if he's past his prime. Not being in the ring for nearly 16months definitely won't help him. But, we all know that Floyd is not your average fighter. Plus, he's never taken a beating in the ring and he always stay close to fight weight. I think the Ortiz fight will be highly competitive.But Floyd's defense and experience should get him the victory. Manny didn't look his best against a shot Mosely. So the question should be if Manny is past his prime.
