Top Rank Club> Us??? What's your say?

To be honest it sickens me as a fan of the sport, to see how In house fighting has become so acceptable eg Top Rank. In all actuality it seems that Arum is creating his own club using top fighters as bate/promises them higher rewards while fighting under TR. As a fighter it's understandable you want the big money fights because this game is all about the money. It is in a way, there is no medical coverage post fights. The sanctioning bodies and the sport have no union or health-care so it makes sense. On the other hand the hype that is being generated for no name fighters matched up against bums is ridiculous and have these new guys become the next era is preposterous. It only makes me wonder how corked boxing is. The politics add drama in a way, but I can only wonder how many fighters who don't fall in line, fall off the grid, or how man great fights fall off the grid or are made at a time when it's no longer relevant.

Arum builds a stable of bums who either cheat to become great and then become busts but sacrifices other fighters for them to do so. Anyone who leaves him he spits on their name. Anyone who stays won't fight the best competition and is hyped as the next King Kong.

Bob keeping everything in house knows/thinks that the fans of boxing won't speak out against it. The media knows about it, but won't address it. What gives? The media should speak for US! We are the media in a way, our insightful passions create the hoopla that in tern way it's way upstream.

I think the tables can turn due to our input. Media has never been like this before ever and as media changes so should we. Boxing Scene is a forum to air a difference of opinion, yes. But it's also a way for us as, the fans, to tell this fu.ck what we want to see. How boxing should be run. We as fans pay for this, and without us there is no boxing. Bob needs to understand that we dictate. There is only one rule, and i'm guilty of this at times... we have to stop ripping on each other and become more constructive in out assessments and in our posts. I think for us as fans we have to stop falling into the hype and fall into the reality. No fighter should be able to talk his way to the top and not fight anyone worth while, no promoter should be able to reap millions if fans of the sport don't want to watch. I know we all have our favorite fighters, but for the sport, the best need to fight the best. And if they want to get a particular fight that the fans want to see, they need to start making their intentions clear, and so do we. Don't believe they hype!

I'm Tired of the Arums of the world, they give nothing back to the grass roots of boxing but reap the benefits that the sport delivers.

That's all I have to say, I hope my intentions are not lost.

    Best to all of you!

Well, Haye has just done it, being such a talker, but he has nothing to do with Top Rank, he's a Golden Balls guy. So why not attack them??

I say is the shoe fits wear it. I'm not looking for any exceptions here. But it seems that more notably it has been done with Arum.

Forgive me if i assume but i think the Haye fight for Vlad has become personal. And if you can get paid for kicking someones ass...well then... i guess that's what this fight is all about.
