Yeah Pavlik wanted none of Abraham as well but at least he fought world class opposition Taylor, Bhop, Martinez etc and probably Bute next. i´m not even sure if Abrahams handlers actually ever made a serious offer to him unlike Sturm who turned all offers down and is just running from the fight like a three year old

Sturm turned down a fortune to fight Abraham a few years back when Abraham was IBF middleweight champ. Abraham was begging for the fight and Sturm would have none of it. He will always be afraid of punchers, even though he has the skills to outbox Abraham if he sticks the jab in his face all night and avoids bombs. IMO Sturm is messed up from being KO'd by the ancient, blown-up jr. middleweight Castillejo
