Macklin was out on his feet and about to get KO'd in round 12 as the fight was ending. Round 12 could have been a 10-8 round for Felix Sturm.

Had there been an additional 30 seconds in the fight, its very likely Macklin would have been knocked out. Macklin was hurt, out on his feet, and another 30 seconds and Sturm would have KO'd him. Macklin was saved by the bell.



Sturm will KO Macklin in the rematch, and he was about 20 seconds away from KOing Macklin in this fight...
