Holding is not legal, that's why a referee can take off points because of clinching ... using rabbit punches is also not legal and IMO more dangerous, but still both holding and using rabbit punches are ilegal...

Haye fans refuse to acknowledge the fact that Wlad throws, on average, 3 times as many punches per round as their man.

I guess it's a matter of taste, some people find a boxer who is very active with his jab more entertaining than a guy who runs 5 miles in the course of a fight.

Against Valuev Haye threw a grand total of 144 punches over 12 rounds. As far as I can tell that is the fewest punches ever attempted by a fighter in a 12 round fight in the history of boxing. I would love for somebody to show me an example of another man being so inactive in a championship fight, much less a fight he won (a joke like all his other fights at HW). Hell I don't need an example of 144 I will settle for an example of a guy throwing less than 200. Not only did Haye run all night, but he threw roughly 100 less punches over the distance than any other verifiable example I have come across.

As for Klitschko, even against Ibragimov (who didn't want to fight, whilst Valuev certainly did) Wladimir attempted about 350 punches. So in a fight that is often cited as an example of Wlad's boring style by the Haye minions, Wlad threw about 2.5 times as many punches as Haye did against Valuev.

You're wasting your breath here, most oh Haye's "fans" can't comprehend upper level math like that.

Haye is a tool...He was ****ting bricks near the end of the Kellerman interview ..I won't be paying for the fight as i refuse to give this fool my money although i would be willing to send Wlad 30 quid directly if that was possible.

Team Haye are just looking for a way to disrupt the Klitschko camp. Haye has already said he plans do to something on fight night that will get Wvlad thinking aswel.

Its all mind games and it may work. George Groves was on facebook last night saying that he has been tasked by team Haye and his mission whilst abroad is to cause as many disruptions as possible and he was asking his friends on advice on what to do.

They are basically trying to take the control factor away from Wvlad to make him feel uneasy. No other opponent has gone to Germany and done this as they have awlays been well treated so feel obliged to be respectful. Haye will do summat fight night. Either it will be Booth refusing to leave the changing room until Wvlads hands are rewrapped or Haye will delay the ringwalk just for the sake of it.

It's not how many you throw but how many you land. There was no official punch count for the Valuev fight but i have seen people saying Haye landed over 80% of his punches and they weren't all jabs like Klitschko against Ibragimov. Some of us like to watch fighters that actually try to get their opponent out of there and not poke them for 12 rounds.

Whatever trash talk they put on to hype this fight, it's still the same heavyweight is boring. I rather see Mexican fighters fight Pinoys Pac v JMM.

It's a member of Team Haye saying these things. Steward and Haye have a pretty decent relationship. I would even go as far as saying Steward secretly wants Haye to win. He despises Klitschko's passive style.
