Would anyone be surprised by this if it happens to be true? I know I wouldn't. They already pulled similar **** after the Chagaev fight, no doubt the corrupt WBA will try all they can to keep their WBA belt away from the Klitschkos so that they can keep crowning their paper champions
    Why would they want that?

They screwed Klychko in favor of Haye and Valuev who were both co-promoted by King at the time and then Ruiz got a mandatory status for about the 4th time even though he hadn't done anything relevant in half a decade. Seems pretty obvious that Don King own them. He also seems to own the WBC considering that his two garbage fighters Stiverne and Austin were ranked 4 and 7 and just fought for a eliminator.

Haye without a title is not worth anything at all ... if he loses but keeps his belt they can still get some money, maybe arrange a fight Adamek - Haye for the WBA HW championship...

I disagree with the bold...But, that's beyond the point.

The TS said that WBA wouldn't want the K-bros as champion of their belt. And, would rather have someone else.

My question is why would the WBA have those feelings? The WBA would make just as much if not more so with either K-Bro as champ. Since they probably make more money than any other HW. Which the WBA gets a percentage off which means more money for them no?

Yeah I also agree that they would make a lot of money with Wlad, but maybe by letting Haye keep the belt they're going to get an ever higher % of the earnings of a Haye's fight such as one vs Adamek ... still it's all speculation IMO

IMO it just prove how crappy the sanctioning bodies are. That's why anybody who holds any of these belts are paper champs. Unless you hold "The Ring" or "Lineal" title, then you're a paper champ in my book.

What gets me is the TS and a couple other posters make it seem like it's an anti-Klitschko conspiracy. That's not the case, not at all. They have their own -maybe corrupted- agenda why. But, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE KLITSCHKO BROTHERS.

For example look at the IBF. They stripped Margarito right before Marg fought Cotto, then they also stripped Clottey right before Clottey fought Cotto. Is the IBF anti-Cotto? Of course not. And, why would they be? However, they had their own -maybe corrupted- agenda as to why they stripped Cotto opponents. But, it has nothing to do with Cotto.

And, that was my whole point to the TS and other posters who are insinuating the WBA is anti-Klitshcko. They're not, they just a crappy organization that's all. And, at the end, who cares? I am not excited about this fight because the WBA title is on the line. I'm excited because, 2 of the top 4 HW's are fighting each other. I couldn't careless if the WBA, WBC, IBF, or WBO title is on the line. I know who the real champ is. And, I don't need any of these sanctioning bodies to tell me that.

Yeah I also understand that in the end it's all about money and corruption, but the fact here is that it wouldn't be fair at all for Wlad to expose all his titles, while Haye doesn't put his belt on the line. I also agree that I'm eager to see this fight not because of the WBA belt, but as I said it's just not fair at all for one boxer to risk to lose all his titles while the other guy has nothing to lose... By the way I used to believe that WBA was one of the most corrupt associations, but now all of them have been making crap decisions over who gets the championships and the bouts to get them...

You are right in that the WBA are not necessarily Anti-Klitschko, but on the other hand they have most certainly been in bed with all the Anti-Klitschko forces behind the scenes for quite awhile now.

In the end yes technically they make more money with Klitschko as champ as far as a % goes but at the same time it is only a % of the fight and not the overall % that the fighter makes from the entire event. It's not hard to imagine a scenario where King pays off the WBA to make up the difference to shift title belts his way.

The way this current scenario is going down makes me think that there is pressure being put on the WBA by Haye and his promoters to try and take the title off the table so that they can continue to milk it after the inevitable Haye loss.

The WBA is going to get destroyed if they do this as it would actually be the 2nd time they screwed Wladimir out of their title.

It seems to me that they would have no reason to do this without outside influence as their % on this fight would be huge, plus it's the ****** ass WBA so they probably are planning to just make Wlad "Super Champ" and then get Povetkin the regular title against some washout.

I doubt it. Because, the IBF didn't get "destroyed" for strippin the titles from Cotto opponents prior to Cotto fight them.

And, I didn't here all this "screwing" Cotto.

But, whatever different fans, different opinions, different agendas.

I couldn't careless if the WBA is on the line or not. I know who the real champ is right now, I know the real champ will be after is all said and done. And, I don't need the WBA to tell me that.

The WBA has been garbage for 40 years now. This is nothing new FFS's. They be doing crap like this for 4 decades. It has nothing to do with the F'ing Klitschko's.
