If its put in a good way to attract people rather then to attack the person, **** yes.

It does a bit. Because honestly, throughout boxing or in life, seldom do the mouthy trash talkers EVER back it up. It reminds me of the frightened kids back in my school days. They did the same thing. "*****" this or "Mother ****er" that, all in an attempt to make the other kid back down because they were so afraid of what would happen to them if the fight actually went down. The only upside to trash talkers is how much joy it brings many of us to see them get their mouths shut. Tyson in his later years did more talking then fighting, because he was afraid (he admits as much.) Mayorga trash talked everyone and is the king of getting knocked out by left hooks. Vargas got destroyed several times after running his mouth. Just like Naz, Haye will likely get humiliated to the point that nobody will ever take him seriously in a fight again. Unlike Naz, Haye is in with a monster who will at least give us gif worthy ko footage to enjoy for years to come. Then, like every trash talker ever, as soon as the fight is over, we will get to hear "No hard feelings. I respect him. It was just to sell the fight." Which is why if you buy fights because "Oh dude!!! These guys hate each other!!!" You are a ****ing moron.Comment

I only like trash talking when it's creative and with a bit of wit. But the way Floyd and Haye trash talk? It's as if they're saying yo mama jokes.Comment
