IBF light heavyweight champion Tavoris Cloud is ready to face Jean Pascal. The bout is being rumored as a possible co-feature to the Bernard Hopkins-Chad Dawson showdown, which is going to take place on October 15th. Cloud returned on Saturday night and stopped Yusaf Mack in the eight round. Pascal was sitting ringside at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. Pascal is trying to regroup after going 1-1-1 in his last three fights, and Cloud is looking to add more big names to his record. After he disposed of Mack, Cloud sent a message to Pascal - "If he’s ready, I’m ready. I’m ready for anybody.”

Mack has power. He dropped Librado Andrade with a single left hook and stunned him a few times prior to being stopped himself.

This is the way to go. Take care of Pascal and the winner of Hopkins-Dawson is next. I hope this comes together. Cloud's shown he can tough it out down the stretch, whereas Pascal falls apart. If they fight, Cloud's got him.

I thought Cloud was the number 1 contender to face the Hopkins-Dawson winner anyway no? Cloud does get hit a little to much but IMO he hits harder and is stronger than Pascal good fight...
