Floyd Mayweather and his talks of "market value"

I apologize if this is a tired subject but I haven't seen it posted, even though it's old news.

I just got a chance to read some of the PBF chats over at boxing///talk.com (June and August) and this guy just cracks me up. I am a huge Mayweather fan, but this guy is calling out people that he has no intention of fighting.

"I want Judah"
"Why won't you do the fight 50/50?"
"Because Judah has to understand something called market value."

This is such bull****! Clearly the fight would be big because of both fighters, not just PBF. The same thing happened with him and Winky. The guy calls out fighters and demands rediculous purses, then settles on Mitchell? Is that really calling out the best?

I would be fighting at heavyweight, but if I called out the best and demanded a billion per fight, should I be credited with "willing to fight the best at any time?"

Don't get me wrong, Floyd is the man, and I think he could beat almost everyone he called out, but come on man! Make the fights dammit!

I agree. I admit he's a class act. But when that mouth starts to open, all finesse runs out of the window and here comes the common thug speaking like a harbor thief.

Too much demands are just lame, if you want respect, you have to first give it and show you deserve it.

i figured he wanted to savor his belt for a while but his spitefull ***** slapping money demands is cutting his fans short.

if he don't want to give judah what he deserves then i want to see a mosley or a margarito or a corrales at 140.

I think he will continue to win quite easily until he fights Oscar. When that happens i think it might be a toss up. Mayweather is faster and has better defense but dlh has a better chin and has the power.

where do you come up with dlh fighting pbf? what sites? i haven't read anything except pipe dreams.

my gather is that dlh wants the easiest fight for the most reward above a spent vargas.

i still have to see how floyd is effected at 147 conserning his #1 asset of speed.would he bring enough power up to dent a mosley or margarito? would zab be faster at 147?

i sort of see dlh being older and pudged out.shrinking to 147 would be a mistake for dlh and a plus for floyd. i think floyd would have fun.and i would guess dlh would know this.
