Apparently you can't read the stats. Matthysse landed 14/85 in round 10 and Alexander landed 13/47. So tell me who landed more. And all of Devon's shots at the end were worthless arm punches. I too had it 5 rounds apiece but with the knockdown I had 95-94 Matthysse. There is no way the judge who had it 96-93 Alexander could convince me Devon won 7 rounds of that fight.

i rewatched the fight again earlier today and scored very carefully. i kept in mind the hometown factor, so any close round i gave to alexander. and i had alexander winning 95-94. rounds 1,2,3,5,6,10 were all close rounds. Rounds 4,7, and 8 were definitely lucas rounds. Round 9 was definitely Devon's round.
I gave lucas the 10th round, too. So Lucas won 4 rounds, and Devon won 6 rounds. one point KD and it's 95-94 Alexander. Obviously Lucas probably deserved some of the closer rounds, but the hometown advatnage is what it is.Last edited by UglyPug; 06-26-2011, 03:38 PM.Comment

When U referred to "Hometown Factor & Advantage" in the way u scored the fight ¿Where U serious or u just did it on purpose to prove a point?..What I mean is ¿Do u actually think a person should DESERVE TO WIN a close round just because they are fighting in their home country, state or town even if u thought the other guy edged it?...Cause anybody with that type of mentality should NEVER be a judge in any fight..i rewatched the fight again earlier today and scored very carefully. i kept in mind the hometown factor, so any close round i gave to alexander. and i had alexander winning 95-94. rounds 1,2,3,5,6,10 were all close rounds. Power punches landed in the 10th:Apparently you can't read the stats. Matthysse landed 14/85 in round 10 and Alexander landed 13/47. So tell me who landed more. Alexander 13
Matthysse 12
Accuracy:
Alex 28%
Matt 16%
Alexander wins round 10 IMO, Lucas lost man get over it

Are you just looking at compubox or did you actually watch the fight and rd 10?
Out landed with what? Matthysse landed the harder more effective shots in those rds, meaning even if he landed 1 or 2 less he still should get t he rd.
Power shots are anything but a jab, and has little to do with how hard you throw the punch. Almost all of Aalexanders punches were pitty pat.
To everyone else: It's funny seeing how people come in here looking at compubox to say it was close or justify a win or draw for Alexander. Watch the fucking fight. Compubox is such a joke.
It is... thats why you actually watch the fight......
This isn't ameteur Boxing where the one who scores the most points wins the fight..... THats ****ing ******....Comment

Actually yea man that's how boxing works.. its nothing new, If your silly enough to go fight in somebody else's backyard, you better not leave any doubt, no close fights, you have to beat them convincingly preferably by KO or you lose.. why is that so hard to process? That's how its always been.. Lucas knew this, he thought he would knock Devon out and leave no doubt which he almost did but thats boxing I'm not trying to discredit Lucas he fought a good fight but thats how it is.. If you don't want to end up like Lucas you only agree on a neutral site to fight at like Gary Shaw did that way you are less likely to get robbed.. Same thing happen to Mike Dallas Friday and I said the same thing..When U referred to "Hometown Factor & Advantage" in the way u scored the fight ¿Where U serious or u just did it on purpose to prove a point?..What I mean is ¿Do u actually think a person should DESERVE TO WIN a close round just because they are fighting in their home country, state or town even if u thought the other guy edged it?...Cause anybody with that type of mentality should NEVER be a judge in any fight..Comment
