  • Devon Alexander @ 135? Discuss. . .

I personally think he could make 135 without much problems. He is extremely low body fat, though, so it might be too hard. . . I noticed he only rehydrated to 151, and a lot of lightweights rehydrate to 150 plus.

Lol I guess I should rephrase that and clarify: Im not sure if Devon could make 135 without boiling away too much stamina, but if he could, I think he would be much more effective.

No, hell no. I already think he should try for 47. Alot of these Jr WWs look more like WWs to me, Lamont, Alexander and Khan.

Alexander will be lackluster whichever weight he fights at. He's good but he's not a top 3 guy in any division.

Man even the likes of Victory Cayo, Tim Coleman, Lamont Peterson and Kendall Holt will give Alexander a tough fight.

147 might be a better fit for him.

            I agree.

IDK about that homie. 151 isnt small at all. Floyd use to be 144 in the ring when he was at 140. Also, Devon has more muscle then nearly anyone in boxing. He might have to cut muscle to get down there.

I dont think 140 is a problem as much as he is just too green right now. They may have rushed him too much. Give him some easier fights and my boy Kevin Cunningham needs to step his game up

i don't know how alexander would do against bam bam or katsidis, i'm not even sure if the weight loss would do him any good tbh. i think he should just improve as time goes on, he's still young. if not, move up and try to gain some more muscle perhaps...
