  • Is Mayweather vs Pacquiao a fair fight in Las Vegas?

After seeing fighters receive the "hometown" decision, such as, Devon Alexander. Will Floyd get the benefit of the doubt if the fight ever happens? No PED or Steroid answers please.

I think Manny gave the most advantageous concession by agreeing to fight Floyd in his hometown instead of a more neutral site in Dallas, Texas. I believe Manny only fought 3 Americans in U.S. soil but none of them were ever in his opponents city of residence. He won those fights convincingly but Floyd is on another level. Unless Manny knocks out Floyd, all the close rounds will go Mayweather because of the backyard advantage, like the Castillo fight. Also, the ref might favor Floyd, just like the ref in Bute vs Andrade or Kenny Bayless "mistakenly" giving Mosley a knockdown in Pacquaio fight.

Manny will have the advantage anywhere there. He's been favored there before, just like when they stopped the Hussein fight early. So Manny knows a thing a or two about the hometown decision.

You got Singapore, the Middle East, and South Africa trying to offer a larger site fees then Las Vegas. Dallas is a more neutral site if the fight happens in America.

Mayweather is from Grand Rapids Michigan,a lot of fighters live here and get no hometown support.

Floyds hometown is Grand Rapids, MI. Manny last fight was just in Vegas. Gimme a break bro.

I'm pretty sure the crowd in the fight is gonna be close to 50/50, no matter where you put it, so does it matter? Nope

But since these two are only fighting for money, Vegas is the obvious choice, fight could generate 20+ million just in gate sales.

Well considering Pac is such a coward that he always wants a stacked deck in almost all his previous fights at "welterweight", it wouldn't surprise me.

                  "I'm afraid of vegas"

"you have fought there numerous times"

                  "talk my promoter"

Please. Even Floyd knocked Manny down three times, they'll call it a slip over there.
